The team is focused on creating engaging mobile games.
As a Graduate Game Designer, you will be instrumental in crafting captivating mobile game experiences.
You will generate innovative ideas that resonate with our target audience and align with project goals.
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll bring game concepts to life, create detailed design documentation, and develop engaging game mechanics.
You will also design immersive levels using Unity, iterate on gameplay based on player feedback, and stay informed about industry trends to ensure our games stand out in the competitive landscape.
Responsibilities: Generate engaging ideas for mobile game designs that align with target audiences and project goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop game concepts from ideation to execution.
Create design documentation for game mechanics, core loops, level layouts, and progression systems.
Conceptualise and design game mechanics, ensuring balance and difficulty pacing for a rewarding player experience.
Develop levels and additional content using Unity, adapting designs based on playtesting and feedback.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Analyse game data and user feedback to improve versions and research emerging mobile gaming trends.
Requirements: Degree in Game Design or a related field.
Understanding of mobile game design and player experience.
Proficiency in Unity.
Knowledge of game mechanics and progression systems.
Creative thinker with innovative game concepts.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Based in our Leamington Spa office, following our hybrid model with 4 days per week on-site.
