Job summary Main function of the job: Working withthe Management Team toensure Ringmead Medical Group meets the desired aims and standards to provideexcellent patient services and clinical care.This willinclude assisting the Practice Operations Manager with the day-to-day operationalrunning of a busy 5 site GP practice to include organising meetings, reviewingdata such as telephone and appointment data to understanding trends, projectmanagement and administrative work to support the Management team.Communicationwith patients, staff and contractors is a key part of the role and will includeassisting with practice social media, newsletters, website, patient feedbackand promoting other health initiatives.Ensuring aclean, safe and welcoming environment for patients and staff is essential.
Partof the job role will include dealing with contractors, organising premiseswork, meeting health & safety, workplace regulations and compliance, inparticular, meeting CQC standards.The PracticeOperations Administrator will need to possess good interpersonal,organisational and communication skills especially when dealing with staff,external contractors and most importantly patients.
Main duties of the job Job Responsibilities:Working with the Practice Operations Manager to ensure the practice meets all regulatory requirements such as Health & Safety, Fire Safety, and CQC requirements.
Working with the Practice Operations Manager to ensure management of the practice premises, building maintenance or emergency repairs, including health & safety, fire regulations and electrical testing, external contractors, staff and patient environment and areas meet the desired standards of CQC and the practice.
Support the Management team to ensure that the programme of works is delivered and recorded routine maintenance, electrical and gas servicing, decoration including liaising, obtaining quotes, and booking premises contractors and service providers.
This includes contacting the handy man or contractors with regard to emergency jobs or repairs.
Working with the Practice Operations Manager to ensure robust processes are in place for the reporting and management of significant events or incidents and supporting the practice team with patient feedback and the complaints process.
Undertaking a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice including meetings management, reviewing telephone and appointment data, ability to meet deadlines and assisting the Practice Operations Manager with day-to-day operational work.
