We are looking for a GP to cover maternity leave for 4months, starting sometime in April or May doing 4 to 6 sessions a week, withsome flexibility over timings for the right candidateThis is a great opportunity for someonerecently qualified and looking to get a taster of salaried work, or someonelooking to secure a period of more settled work after a period of locuming.
Salarywill be dependent on experience but will reflect the shorter-term nature of therole.
Main duties of the job On top of the usual duties of a GP, as a salaried GP, you will be expected to look after a patient list of 250 patients per session worked.
Observatory Medical Practice run a Duty Doctor system with 2 DDs on on a Monday and one each other day.
The 10 GPs working here pro rata this depending on how many sessions they work and you will be expected to partake in this.

Job description Job responsibilities You will be expected to perform all the usual roles of a working GP, including looking after a list of patients, partaking in our Duty Doctor rota, helping debrief our registrars and medical students, helping with covid and flu vaccinations.
