Global Rtr Accountant (Fixed Term)

Job ResponsibilitiesPerform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and production of financial schedules.Perform monthly bank reconciliations.Perform analysis for monthly accruals.Maintain fixed asset sub-ledger, including recording new assets, disposals, and monthly depreciation.Establish, maintain, and improve accounting control procedures.Identify, gain support for and implement process improvements.Prepare and maintain amortization schedules for prepaid accounts.Prepare and file sales and use tax returns for multiple states.Manage the vendor setup process.Support financial and tax audits.Ad-hoc projects as needed.
Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, from an accredited university or part qualified accountant or qualified by experience.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Finance, Audit, and/or Accounting.Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.Accuracy and attention to detail.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Experience of working in a process focused environment such as shared services or outsourcingExperience of US tax and regulatory framework preferred.JDE E1 and Hubble experience preferred.Process management experience and familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or other process management disciplines desired.Must be able to work with large volumes of data.Display strong written and oral communication skills.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships is a must.
