In joining the team, you will become a key member of this high growth function, responsible for developing both the strategic and technology vision, alongside the business model and commercial success of the emerging Cybersecurity Portfolio.Vodafone Business has a vision to bring simplified cybersecurity along with access to leading cyber talent and expertise to organisations that do not have the experience, time or resources to keep up with the rapidly evolving threat landscape.
Vodafone Security sits within Vodafone Business Group Product & Services (VBG P&S), a global product organisation operating predominantly across the UK, Germany, EU Cluster (PT, IE, GR, CZ, RO, AL, TR), and South Africa.As a Global Product Manager, you will be responsible for developing, refining and executing cybersecurity propositions, to support the growth of the global portfolio and the enablement of our sales channels in order to achieve the Vodafone Security strategic goals.
You will have a deep knowledge of cybersecurity products, services, trends and customer buying behaviours within SoHo, SME and Corporate segments.As a member of the team, you will have particular ownership for a product or service area, and product expansion, as part of the wider Cybersecurity Portfolio that will deliver comprehensive digital security, managed security services and security operations to help simplify security for businesses enabling them to identify, protect, detect, respond and recover from potential cyberattacks including:- Cyber assessment services that will start the customer journey by increasing awareness of cyber risks and the practical steps that can be taken to reduce exposure- Digital security services from device to cloud that are delivered through a seamless unified digital customer experience- Managed security services and security operations to simplify customer on-boarding, service delivery, in-life management as well as incident management and responsEA particular focus of the role is to engage with the Local Markets and enable portfolio integration and planning, including the financial planning and prioritisation.
As a Global Product Manager, you will drive the simplification and integration of propositions, products and services into Local Markets to reduce time to market as well as expand the portfolio into emerging cybersecurity areas.
- Experience of Information/Cybersecurity market with general understanding of customer solutions- Good commercial understanding with ability to judge value of investments and commercial returns for Vodafone and our customers- Ability to effectively communicate complex information and concepts in simple, compelling ways- Demonstrable ability to lead, co-ordinate and influence global teams in a matrix organisation – direct, virtual and supplier – in delivering required outcomes- Comfortable in presenting to a wide range of audiences, from C-level, sales teams through to analyst communities and technically aware teams- Experience of working in roles requiring clear thinking under tight timelines- Experience of working in matrix organisations, delivering proven resultsWith us you will...1) Global Product Strategy: Define a differentiated and disruptive Global Product strategy, lead strategic planning with a Market and Segment perspective.
Own budget and resourcing planning.2) Business Plan and Model: Design and align the operating model, principles and execution of the plan with target markets/segments.
Identify and implement ways to accelerate performance.3) Customer Success – Revenue: Drive GTM alignment, sales channel optimisation, customer satisfaction and revenue growth.4) Internal & External communications: Thought Leader internally and externally for security and your portfolio/product area.
Ensures that the stakeholder map and communications plan is current and executed against.
It would be nice if you have...- Experience in a similar role within the Telco or IT industry desirable- Understanding of cybersecurity product & portfolio ownership role, and breadth of cybersecurity domain expertise- Understanding of small & medium business needs, digital marketplaces and digital channels- Excellent communicator – clear precise written and verbal communication style.
Facilitation skills a plus- Experience working in a customer-facing environment, in an influential position.
Build strong relationships with peers, stakeholders, and partners- External Thought Leader- Demonstrate ability to work without close supervision.
