Proclinical is seeking a Global Brand Director to lead, develop, and execute marketing strategies and activities for a key product in the treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis.
This role involves serving as the primary point of contact with affiliates/regions and cross-functional teams for strategy and execution.
Responsibilities: Drive strategy and coordinate multi-functional activities, leveraging input from cross-functional and affiliate stakeholders.
Develop and lead the international indication strategy, including positioning, channel optimization, core messaging, story flow, branding, and associated campaigns.
Lead cross-functional Global Brand Team (Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Commercial Excellence, and Affiliate).
Guide and support affiliate marketing colleagues to embed and execute the strategy.
Build strong brand belief across all functions and affiliates, ensuring internal communications reflect this.
Develop and coordinate the cross-functional brand plan with relevant functions and country teams.
Monitor brand dynamics and performance, adjusting the marketing mix to enhance growth.
Support sales forecasting in coordination with Commercial Operations and country BUDs/GMs.
Influence market insight and analytic teams, validate customer insights and competitive intelligence plans, and own forecasting assumptions.
Lead the development and tactical roll-out of international congresses.
Manage relationships with creative agencies and supporting third-party commercial vendors.
Monitor and control brand budgets, forecasts, and expenses.
Communicate the performance of the indication in major markets (EU5), define KPIs, identify opportunities and challenges, and develop action plans.
Key Skills and Requirements: University degree in Science and/or Business (advanced degree preferred).
Experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry with a track record of delivering results in a matrix environment.
Previous country-level brand management experience.
Global, EMEA, and/or multi-country experience.
Strong people management or matrix team leadership skills.
Experience in cross-functional/matrix management.
Knowledge of the immunology therapeutic area is preferred.
Proven ability to lead projects to successful completion.
Excellent spoken and written English; other languages are a plus.
Willingness to travel internationally (10-20%).
