Account & Relationship Management (Sales) Full time An opportunity is currently available for an experienced Sales and Account Manager to join our fantastic team. The Aviation Group (TAG) is a member of the Wymap Group of Companies, who are unique providers of solutions to the aviation, logistics and transport industries. We bring together a team of experts across the aviation cargo supply chain that provides TAG with extensive capabilities in air freight sales and operations. Partnering with a Global Airline working with International Freight Forwarders, you will be the face of this Global Airline selling their airfreight products and services in the Sydney market. The position is best suited to an energetic, self-motivated, sales-focused individual who enjoys building and nurturing business relationships.
About the Role The key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
Ensuring customers are engaged with the company's products and services. First point of contact and escalation to both internal and external customers, providing timely and responsive service to customer needs. Marketing customer Airlines products to its customers. Develop and implement sales strategies to maximise available revenues in conjunction with Airline Sales Management. Develop and maintain customer engagement plan to ensure sales targets are achieved and activities are recorded in CRM as required. Provide and record as necessary pricing and relevant controls to customers within agreed parameters. Provide reporting and data analysis as required. Working closely with the various divisions of Wymap Group on service delivery requirements. Manage the coordination and communication to Airline vendors including the Cargo Terminal Operator (CTO). Cooperating with and being knowledgeable of organizational and relevant legislated policies and procedures. About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:
3+ years in a Sales/Account Management role with a preference for the aviation sector and/or transport & logistics industry experience. Professional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines whilst multi-tasking. Advanced administrative and computer skills to use multiple systems. High attention to detail, focus and consistency under pressure. Problem-solving capability with experience to make decisions quickly. Appreciation for team culture and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. All applicants must have their own licence and transport and be willing to undergo a background check to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC). Dangerous Goods Acceptance trained / RACA is preferred, but not essential.
