Vialto Partners is seeking a Strategic Legal Business Partner to join our Global Legal Group (GLG).
This pivotal role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive growth, manage strategic contracts, and align legal strategies with business objectives.
You will report directly to Vialto Legal's Lead ELT Strategic Business Partner and play a key role in facilitating high-impact transactions and mitigating legal and business risks. Key Responsibilities Facilitate Strategic Contracts:Lead the planning, process, and execution of strategic transactions to ensure smooth and timely completion.Manage the negotiation of complex contracts, aligning them with Vialto's global and regional objectives.Contract Review Collaboration:Work with the contract review team or independently to review and assess critical agreements.Ensure contracts reflect the company's values and regulatory compliance.Business Goal Alignment:Act as a trusted advisor to global and regional teams, structuring deals that align with broader business goals.Identify and assess business opportunities to create value for the company.Risk Management and Mitigation:Analyze risks associated with strategic partners, vendors, or customers.Develop proactive solutions to mitigate legal and business risks while protecting the company's long-term interests.Business Liaison and Collaboration:Partner with internal stakeholders in Legal, Risk, Compliance, and other teams to align strategies and ensure compliance with EMEA legal requirements.Collaborate with departments such as Sales, Finance, and Operations to integrate legal insights into business planning.Market Insight and Compliance:Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes within the EMEA region.Provide actionable advice to mitigate risks and leverage opportunities.Conflict Resolution:Address disputes and issues related to strategic contracts, offering legally sound, practical solutions.Continuous Improvement:Optimize processes for contract negotiation and execution to enhance efficiency and strategic impact.Qualifications Education: Juris Doctor (JD), Bachelor of Laws (LLB), or equivalent legal qualification.Licensure: Active license to practice law in one or more countries within the EMEA region.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of legal experience in an in-house or corporate law environment with expertise in strategic contract negotiation and deal facilitation.Languages: Fluency in English is required.
Proficiency in additional EMEA-relevant languages is highly desirable.Competencies Strong business acumen and understanding of legal strategies to support business growth.Proven ability to manage complex negotiations and provide legal leadership to diverse teams.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders.High integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive legal matters.Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships across all levels of the organization.Additional Information: Position Type: Regular, Full Time Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days in-office per week) Location: London We are an equal opportunity employer that does not discriminate based on any legally protected status.
