General Overview For those passionate about tackling geotechnical challenges related to poor ground conditions with precision and technical excellence.
Key responsibilities include data analysis, developing ground models, producing factual reports, overseeing field activities, and performing geotechnical and geological design calculations.
Comprehensive training in Geobear's ground improvement technology will be provided Qualifications Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or Geology, with a preference for candidates holding an MEng or MSc in Geotechnical Engineering or Soil Mechanics.
Proficiency with IT tools across Google Suite and MS Office is essential, and experience with geotechnical and CAD design software, such as SLOPE or PLAXIS, is an advantage.
Sponsorship for professional registration with a relevant institution will be provided.
Strong written and spoken English skills are required Experience This is essentially an entry level position and so it is expected the candidates will have up to 2 years relevant experience within engineering or environmental consultancy and/or ground engineering contractors including those Companies which specialise in site investigation.
Experience of logging soil to BS5930 and knowledge of different site investigation techniques would be desirable.
