Job Description TBC Ltd (Taxi and Bus Conversion Ltd) are recognised as one of the market leading conversion companies operating across the UK and Ireland.

  Main Purpose of Job You will be involved in various types of vehicle conversions, whilst ensuring that the work is carried out professionally and to the customer's satisfaction.  Knowledge and understanding of engineering and auto electrics to assist with vehicle conversions to include ply lining, and fitting electrical components.  Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations whilst carrying out work in a timely manner and contributing to departmental targets using a "right first time" approach.
About The Role Role Responsibilities Receives the vehicle and carries out work as instructed; Carry out vehicle conversions to agreed customer specifications / manufacturer / health and safety regulations; Read and understand customer specifications and plans; Carry out a range of activities to include:  Welding Ply Lining Window cutting and fitting Wiring electrics and fitting electrical components Speedliner coatings  Diagnose current and potential faults or anomalies Report on vehicle requirements Safeguards and protects all vehicles during work taking due care and attention not to cause any damage to vehicle  and components Responsibility for good housekeeping in the workshop and work area Completes all required paperwork and administration to reflect work carried out Ensures that all hours and materials are correctly used and recorded Ensures the correct use of all plant, tools and machinery belonging to the Company Report any damages / defect equipment to management Ensure that any work carried out has been completed correctly and to customer satisfaction Liaise with Production Manager to alert of any work which is unlikely to be completed by the required time Update and liaise regularly with Production Manager to advise on work progress Drive and Park the vehicles appropriately around the site when work is completed Take responsibility for your actions and decisions Follow safe working practices Complies with all Health and Safety legislation to ensure safety and well being of self, colleagues, customers and visitors Complies with all Company systems, processes and procedures Skills and Competencies: Be self -motivated, possessing drive and ambition to achieve quality results Be pro-active and enthusiastic towards your work Ability to communicate effectively with production manager and other work colleagues Ability to pay attention to detail through a logical work approach Work independently in a busy, active environment with little supervision and direction Learn continually about product and technical information Ability to deal with physical work Ability to drive within DVA regulations and taking extra precautions with all vehicles at all times Full driving licence is mandatory for the role Ability to use the most appropriate tools and machinery applicable to the job   TBC Conversions is an equal opportunities employer Skills Needed Managerial / Operational, Labour / Construction, Manufacturing / Production About The Company Since its inception in 2006, TBC Conversions has etched an indelible mark in the vehicle conversion sector, earning a reputation as a trusted name across the UK and Ireland.

Full driving licence is mandatory for the role.
