General Teaching Assistant – KS1   Location: Preston Working Hours: Monday to Friday / 8.45am – 3.15pm Pay Rate: £12.90 - £13.50 per hour.
  Our children, staff and governing body are looking to appoint a skilled, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Teaching Assistant, who will be a role model for our children and support them to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Our school is an oversubscribed mainstream primary school based in the Preston area.
We require all our staff to be friendly, hardworking, flexible, and able to use their own initiative.
Our school is a fantastic place to be for the right person and we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, resilient, and positive TA to work with children in Key Stage One.
You will work very closely with the class teacher to provide the very best education for our pupils.
We believe that happy, secure children learn most effectively so you will need excellent communication skills and the ability to nurture and develop positive relationships.

Someone with an enthusiasm for education and learning.

Someone with experience of working with children with special educational needs.
Someone who has the ability to adapt learning to meet individual needs.
Essential Qualifications Minimum of a Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent appropriate to the post) GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent qualification) Grade C or above It is vital that the incoming member of staff has previous experience of working within a KS1 setting.
They should have a clear knowledge and understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
