General Teaching Assistant – KS1 Location: Preston Working Hours: Monday to Friday / 8.45am – 3.15pm Pay Rate: £12.90 - £13.50 per hour.
Our children, staff and governing body are looking to appoint a skilled, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Teaching Assistant, who will be a role model for our children and support them to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Our school is an oversubscribed mainstream primary school based in the Preston area.

You will work very closely with the class teacher to provide the very best education for our pupils.

Essential Qualifications Minimum of a Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent appropriate to the post) GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent qualification) Grade C or above It is vital that the incoming member of staff has previous experience of working within a KS1 setting.
They should have a clear knowledge and understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
