Job summary We are looking for a GP who is extremely passionate about delivering exceptional person centred care.
Who thrives in a busy environment, has the ability to contribute positively whilst working in a large team and has a enthusiastic and flexible approach.We have an amazing clinical multi-disciplinary team comprising of GPs, ANPs, Diabetic Specialist Nurses, Treatment Room and Practice Nurses, HCAs and Phlebotomists.
We also have Care Co-ordinators, Social Prescribing Link Workers and GPA Assistants, as well as a large administrative team comprising of secretaries, performance, compliance and GP administrators helping to support our patients to ensure we deliver the best service we possibly can.Our Friends and Family Test consistently exceeds over 80% on a monthly basis with a high response rate, which we are extremely proud of.
Main duties of the job The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a wide range of healthcare needs in a primary care setting.
They will work with clinical colleagues to ensure high standards of care are provided for all patients and undertake duties such as face-to-face consultations, telephone consultations, prescribing, clinical audits, contribute to practice meetings, training and home visits.

Job description Job responsibilities The following are the core responsibilities of the GP.
There may be, on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels: delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population provision of services commensurate with the primary care contractc.Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidanced.Effective management of long-term conditionse.Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative tasks a rotational basis, undertake telephone triage and duty doctor rolesg.Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidance collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workload to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit processj.Contribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practice delegated responsibility for a specific area (or areas) or the QOF and contribute effectively to practice meetings as requiredm.Contribute effective to the development and maintenance of the practice including clinical governance and training compliance with the appraisal processo.Prepare and complete the revalidation process to self-learning and instil an ethos of continuing professional development across the practice teamq.Support the training of medical students from all clinical disciplinesr.Support the partners in achieving the strategic aims of the practice, making recommendations to enhance income and reduce expenditure and always adhere to practice protocols and policiest.Encourage collaborative working, liaising with all staff regularly, always promoting a culture of continuous improvementIn additionto the primary responsibilities, the salaried GP may be requested to:a. Participatein practice audits as requested by the audit leadb.
