General Practice Nurse

9 Frew Terrace, Irvine KA12 9DY Frew Terrace Surgery are looking to recruit a full/part time General Practice Nurse to join our friendly and hardworking team.We are a well established training practice situated over 2 sites in the town of Irvine, North Ayrshire.
Our patient population is just over 11,500 patients with a mixed demographic which will allow the successful candidate to experience a varied and diverse role.
Our practice consists of 8 GP Partners, 2 Salaried GPs, General Practice Nurse, 2 Pharmacists, 2 CTAC Nurses & 2 CTAC HCSW, Physiotherapist, Community Link Worker, Income Advisor, 4 GPST and an FY2, who are all supported by our experienced management and admin team.The ideal candidate should be motivated, friendly and have good communication and IT skills.
They should be reliable, enthusiastic and have strong interpersonal skills.
We are looking for someone who will be an integral part of the practice team but will also have the ability to work on their own initiative with strong skills in clinical decision making.Experience within General Practice would be desirable but is not essential.
Equally we are open to both experienced nurses and those at the early stages of their nursing careers as the successful candidate will be encouraged and supported with continuing and additional training from our experienced clinical team.
