General Operative

The General Operative will join a busy precast team based in Somercotes.
This is a great opportunity if you are looking for a long term position within an established organisation.
A background in concrete, ideally precast is desirable or a construction environment, you will need to be very hands on and confident using tools !
Duties include: Installing cast in items into moulds before they have concrete poured Assist filling moulds with concrete and achieving the standard of finish that is required by our customer Assist in pre-delivery finishing to achieve the required standards Working closely with your other colleagues stripping and setting up moulds Requirements You will be subject to a drug & alcohol test prior to starting Previous experience within precast or construction Able to measure, use tools and have a hands-on approach Work as part of a team and to strict guidelines AM & PM Shifts available (8hour days) Hourly rate depending on experience Own transport due to location of the site Please click apply or call Pertemps Derby for further information.
