General Operative

We have a requirement for a General Operative with our manufacturing client in Moira area.
Your new company   A successful manufacturing company in Moira area who are a main supplier of their products across UK and Ireland.
Your new role   The purpose of these roles is to ensure customers' orders are fulfilled to the highest standards in a fast-paced environment.
You'll provide excellent customer service whilst operating within a safe working environment and ensuring legal compliance to all Health & Safety standards.
The hours of work are rotating shifts Monday to Friday 6 am to 2pm, then Monday to Friday 1 pm to 9 pm.
Specific tasks include: • Pick computer generated orders with repetitive handling/lifting of heavy and large item • Accurately record stock movement and usage, along with product identification and use of measuring equipment.
• Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team and on your own.
• Handle steel • Transferring stock to its location using a Forklift trucks and cranes.
• Assisting in the overall production and dispatch of customers' orders.
• Maintain high levels of Health and Safety.
• Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements What you'll need to succeed   Ideally you will have experience as a warehouse/yard operative.
Have a flexible attitude, be results oriented, and enjoy working in a team environment.
Fork-Lift and Side-loader is desirable but not essential.
Health & Safety awareness.
