General Operative Chesterfield - Insulation Your future job We are looking for a General Operative to join our team.
The focus of this role is to complete all General Operative tasks to a high standard, by constantly challenging the status quo and be at the forefront of evolution, continuous improvement, quality and health, safety & welfare.
Whist promoting Unilin's core values of openness, integrity, adaptability, customer focus and team approach.Permanent role, Monday to Friday, working hours for alternating shifts: 6am-2pm & 2pm to 10pm, and also night shift available Mon- Thursday: Key Attributes:• Team player who will work with others to achieve company goals • Hardworking with an ability to meet deadlines• Customer focused attitude • Ability to follow instruction • Ability to work on own initiativeKey Tasks and Duties:• Work within the ethos and standards of the company• Work in all areas of the factory • Complete training and all functions of GO1 Grade 1• Keep good housekeeping standards in all areas• Keep up to date knowledge of all products• Ensure waste is discarded in appropriate manner.• Follow work instructions in all areas• Complete and pass GO1 training in your designated area.• Ensure you comply with Health & Safety regulations • You are responsible for your own Health & Safety and the Health and Safety of your fellow employees• Ensure all data to be recorded is accurate and up to date• Ensure area is prepared for start up to include correct labels and packaging• Ensure quality guidelines are followed for all areas • Undertake flexible working hours to meet deadlines• Undertake any other tasks appropriate to the position, as requested by management This description is provided to offer you an outline of the key features of your job but is not limited to this description.
