General Manager Warehousing & LogisticsSalary: up to £85,000 Plus Benefits LloydsPharmacy Clinical Homecare are looking for a General Manager within Warehouse and logistics you will be responsible for providing overall leadership for the Harlow Scimitar site, ensuring that the facility operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
This role will involve coordinating and managing the stock, storage, collation, and transportation of materials for pharmaceutical manufacturing and medication, ensuring timely delivery to patients' homes in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Distribution Practice (GDP), and LPCH Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Key Accountabilities: Warehousing Service Delivery: Ensure the delivery of a warehousing service that meets or exceeds all agreed service levels, focusing on accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Change Management and Automation: Lead and implement change initiatives aimed at automating operations, driving efficiencies, and enhancing overall performance outcomes.
Technology Integration: Oversee the integration of supporting technologies to reduce the need for manual intervention, including: Warehouse Management Systems (WMS): Implement and optimize the use of WMS to streamline warehouse operations.
Storage Optimization Systems: Develop and maintain systems that optimize storage allocation and conditions to maximize space utilization and product accessibility.
Data Analytics and KPI Monitoring: Leverage data analytics tools to monitor and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), including order cycle times, accuracy, and product utilization rates, to inform decision-making and drive performance improvements.
Transport Management Compliance: Ensure high standards of management, leadership, and compliance within the transport function, adhering to transportation regulations, LPCH patient SLAs, and industry standards.
Regulatory Compliance Assurance: Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and health and safety standards, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Drive continuous improvement activities across warehouse and logistics operations to enhance operational efficiencies, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a high-performing department, maximizing the performance and potential of team members through effective mentoring, training, and support.

Proven GM-level experience in managing warehouse and logistics operations, demonstrating strategic oversight and operational excellence.
Skills: Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Proven ability to deliver on customer needs and enhance service delivery.
Excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
