General Manager - Mon - Fri Office Hours - Mayfair - Up to £45k A fantastic opportunity for a Restaurant General Manager to escape the rat race running shifts at weekends & evenings & get into something where you can work Mon - Fri Office hours but applying all of the skills you have acquired as a General Manager running busy restaurant businesses.
Our client is a leading luxury office provider - think swanky boutique hotel with all the furnishings, fittings, finishes & a 5* guest service standard you would expect - but instead of rooms you have offices.
The General Manager position oversees the smooth running of the building - the Reception & Concierge departments as well as Housekeeping.
You will also be meeting with prospective clients showing them around the building as well as taking care of current Clients.
The offices attract smart, friendly City clientele - typically Hedge Funds, Investment Banks, Asset Management & City Recruitment Firms.
Its a great working environment but standards & expectations are high so we are looking for those General Managers that have a honed approach to incredible guest experiences.
This General Manager role is an OFFICE BASED role 5 days a week so you must be based within a sensible reach of Zone 1.
We are especially keen to invite applications from General Manager candidates that feel ready for a move out of hospitality & into a corporate lifestyle but also into something exciting with true autonomy.
There might be wiggle room on salary for exceptional talent so if you are currently earning slightly above £45k but like the sound of the opportunity you should still apply.
This is a General Manager role that isn't going to be for everyone.
It's aimed at a General Manager that is growing tired of the big company thankless corporate contingency and all of the daily tick box exercises and the paperwork that goes with it - or a General Manager who think their only two options are to either take on a regional / multi site role role in their next move or get out of Hospitality all together.
It's for a General Manager who knows that there is a lot more to running a Restaurant business than just following ever stricter budgets & doing the same thing day in, day out.
It's for those who want the term "my guests" to actually mean something.
Perhaps most importantly it's for those in companies who don't want to lose the fire in their belly simply because their current company has got nothing else to offer them.
If this sounds like you - send your CV over & we'll have a look a it for you.
