Aramark UK is looking to hire an experienced and dedicated General Manager to join the team at the Anglo American Woodsmith Mines (YO22 5BF).
This is an exciting, permanent and full-time term time opportunity reporting into our Regional Operations Director and will be based on site leading and driving a team to success whilst overseeing catering and cleaning services across the contract.
Please note to get to site, you will need to get a free shuttle bus from one of our three locations- Whitby, Scarborough or Guisborough.

This is an active and visible role requiring excellent client and customer relationship skills as well as senior managerial, commercial and entrepreneurial ability with the successful candidate liaising with senior clients and customers.
The General Manager will have overall responsibility for all areas of the Anglo American contract delivering financial commitments in revenue, and margin targets as well as identifying opportunities for business growth and continuous improvement.
The role holder will have ultimate contract responsibility for leading people which will encompass supporting the organisation to embed our mission, vision and values and to build a culture of recognition and employee engagement.
Reporting directly to the Regional Operations Director the role holder will manage the on-site team at the Wood Smith Mine site within the Anglo American contract to successfully deliver catering, retail and cleaning services across the Contract.
They will work collaboratively with other internal stakeholders to deliver our Company commitments and live our values.
Collaborative relationship with Finance, Business Development, HR, L&D functional support teams and ROD You'll be all set up for success if you have: Successfully worked in a General Manager capacity within food service, soft facilities or retail Effectively able to build and maintain client relationships.
