KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee daily operations, including project delivery, team management, and customer satisfaction Optimize costs and improve efficiencies to meet financial targets Execute strategic plans to drive growth and enhance profitability Mentor a high-performing team and foster a culture of collaboration Monitor KPIs and prepare performance reports for leadership Identify new business opportunities and build client relationships Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, company policies, and health and safety standards Foster an environment where innovation and creative problem-solving are encouraged Represent the company in meetings, negotiations, and industry events as needed Develop and expand the customer base ABOUT YOU Demonstrated experience in a middle management position, preferably in plant hire, construction, civil engineering, or a comparable sector Strong commercial awareness, evidenced by a history of achieving profitability Proven ability to develop and implement strategic business plans Capacity to lead and motivate teams, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the aptitude to establish relationships at all organizational levels Strong organizational abilities coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving Financial expertise, including experience in budgeting, cost control, and forecasting Desire to advance within the company, to assume full operational responsibilities in the future A background in construction or plant operations is advantageous for this role BENEFITS £60,000 - £65,000 basic salary 31 days holiday including BH Pension (5 % company 4% employee) Death in Service - (4 x annual salary) Opportunities for professional development and career progression.
