General Manager

We are seeking an experienced General Manager for our client based in Loughborough.


The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations across production and dispatch, with a particular emphasis on chemical products.
They will oversee the warehousing department and manage staff to ensure smooth operations in the packing department.
A strong background in the chemical industry, either through experience or qualifications, is essential.
Familiarity with ADR regulations and the transportation of dangerous goods is required, along with experience in ISO-regulated environments.


Salary + Working Hours Monday to Friday, with flexibility required.
Competitive Salary of £40,000-£50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key responsibilities include: Managing day-to-day operations across production, dispatch, and warehousing.
Overseeing staff and ensuring efficient workflow in the packing department.
Ensuring compliance with ADR regulations, experience with the transportation of dangerous goods, and ISO regulations.
Implementing strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
Candidates should have: A background in the chemical industry, with relevant experience or qualifications.
Strong management skills and the ability to lead a small team effectively.
