General Manager - Food Logistics / Warehouse - Banbury

As the General Manager, you will be at the helm of a new warehouse in Banbury, steering day-to-day operations and aligning strategies with the company's broader objectives.

Act as an escalation point, executing sound judgement and business acumen.
Manage, monitor, and evaluate suppliers and service providers in line with service level agreements.
Present operational performance evaluations to the Directors.
Ideal Candidate Profile Proven background in overseeing logistics and transportation operations, ideally within the food sector.
Enthusiastic self-starter with the capacity to motivate oneself and act proactively.
Supportive individual capable of engaging with staff at all levels, with a drive to enhance processes.
Flexible in a dynamic environment with adept management of a demanding workload.
Strong communication skills at all levels, with the ability to influence, inspire, motivate, and mentor others.
Excellent customer service skills and comfortable discussing conflict.
Understanding of Quality Management Systems and their application within the operational environment.
