We currently have a vacancy in Parkville Blantyre for the role of General Manager What Your Role will involve: Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of operations, including staffing, inventory and maintenance.
Ensure smooth, efficient, and cost-effective daily operations to achieve optimum manpower levels.
Financial Performance: Develop and manage budgets, analyse financial reports and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and control costs.
Achieve financial targets and maximize profitability.
Customer Experience: Ensure a consistently high level of customer service.
Address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Ensure , through regular monitoring , that standards of comfort, atmosphere, cleanliness and safety are maintained .
Staff Leadership: Recruit, train and develop a high-performing team.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional growth.
Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and events.
Identify opportunities to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, EHO, licensing laws and company policies.
Conduct regular audits and risk assessments.
Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, order supplies and manage vendor relationships.
Ensure stock control and minimize waste.
Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with local communities and organizations.
Represent the pub at local events and initiatives.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term strategies to enhance the venue 's market position and competitiveness.
Align operational activities with the company's overall goals.
