General Ledger Accountant

Engage Recruitment are delighted to be working with a fast-growing, global manufacturing business who are now looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join their busy team.
This is a newly created & varied role, reporting to a vastly experienced Head of Department and would be an excellent opportunity for an individual keen to progress & develop in a busy, global organisation.
Our client has made some shrewd acquisitions, onboarded outstanding names in the industry into their leadership team has recently moved into state of the art new offices!
Key responsibilities: Management accounts support for month-end Review & scrutinise journals Review & post accruals & prepayments adjustments Payroll & sales adjustments Approval of BACS & manual payment runs prepared by accounts payable Upload financial information & reporting KPI's into Group Reporting System General ledger reconciliations Balance sheet reconciliations CAPEX reporting Support to accounts payable/receivable, treasury, tax & payroll Support of internal & external audit processes in UK and overseas Ad-hoc duties as and when required Skills & qualifications: Degree in Accountancy & Finance or equivalent is desirable Working towards or post-qualification is also desirable Good systems & accounting experience preferred MS Dynamics 365 experience is desirable What's on offer: This is an initial 9 months fixed-term contract with the POTENTIAL of moving to permanent Competitive salary of £45k-£55k dependant on experience Hybrid working 6% employer pension contribution On-site parking Engage Recruitment are exclusive recruitment partners on this great opportunity and we welcome all interested parties to apply now or contact Craig Sinclair, Head of Accountancy & Finance for further information.
