Job Description Baxterstorey is seeking a dedicated and efficient General Assistant to join our team in Westhill, United Kingdom.
As a General Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting various departments and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within our organisation.
Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document management Support team members with various projects and daily operations as needed Maintain a clean and organised work environment Handle incoming phone calls and emails, directing them to appropriate departments Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment Perform basic financial tasks such as processing invoices and expense reports Coordinate meetings and manage calendars as required Undertake ad-hoc tasks and special projects as assigned by management Qualifications Excellent customer service skills with a professional and friendly demeanour Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite Effective time management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to learn new skills A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a supportive work atmosphere Additional Information For almost 20 years, for every client, in every location (whether that's an office, stadium, cathedral or university), we have created beautiful spaces, exciting menus and friendly teams, so that each and every customer can have the hospitality experience they deserve.
