Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) at GCSE level.
2.
Develop and implement individualised learning plans to support the academic progress of each student.
3.
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment to engage SEN students effectively.
4.
Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed to ensure learning objectives are met.
5.
Collaborate with SEN coordinators and teachers to align tutoring sessions with classroom curriculum and goals.
Required Qualifications: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Specialisation in English and Maths education - Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: At least 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience, preferably with SEN students Knowledge and Skills: - Strong understanding of SEN strategies and best practises - Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in creating and delivering engaging lesson plans Preferred Qualifications: - Additional certifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN) education - Experience with online tutoring platforms Working Conditions: - Part-Time hours, flexible schedule - Work mainly in a home educational setting - Potential travel to different locations to provide outreach tutoring services All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
