Job Title: English and Maths GCSE Outreach Tutor Location: East of England, Suffolk, Barking Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Deliver engaging and interactive English and Maths GCSE tutoring sessions to students in the East of England area Provide one-on-one and group tutoring to support students in achieving their academic goals Create customised lesson plans based on individual student needs and learning styles Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to provide feedback on student performance Required Qualifications: Qualified teacher status (QTS) Experience teaching English and Maths at GCSE level Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate and inspire students Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at GCSE level Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum for English and Maths Proficiency in using different teaching methods to engage students Ability to assess student needs and adapt teaching strategies accordingly Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Education Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, flexible schedule Travel to different locations within the East of England area Opportunity to make a positive impact on students' academic achievements All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
