Job Title: GCSE LAC Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Colchester Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide one-on-one tutoring to students preparing for their GCSE exams Develop tailored lesson plans to address individual learning needs Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their learning experience Communicate effectively with parents and school staff regarding student progress Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience in tutoring or teaching GCSE level subjects Strong knowledge of the GCSE curriculum and assessment criteria Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience at the GCSE level Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate and inspire students Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Proficient in using educational technology to enhance learning Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Education or related field Experience working with Looked After Children (LAC) Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, flexible schedule.
Must be able to travel to students' homes or educational institutions within the Colchester area.
