Gardener

Residential full-time live in Gardener Salary: Including benefits and £30,028 pa 40 hours per week Summary: To work within a local Almshouse complex at Bradford Tradesmen's Homes situated in 3 acres of private grounds.
This live in position would see you maintaining the gardens of 47 properties with surrounding lawns, mature trees and a fully equipped 60' heated greenhouse.
Responsibilities and Duties: To work alongside our part-time Head Gardener with maintaining the gardens and grounds to a high standard.
Duties include: ·     Maintaining the gardens ·     Lawn maintenance ·     Tree & shrub maintenance ·     Herbaceous borders ·     Pest and disease management ·     Wildflower maintenance ·     Basic landscaping tasks ·     Glasshouse crop production ·     Basic tool maintenance ·     General repairs dependant on skills ·     Attend to emergencies in the absence of the Trust Administrator ·     All while maintaining H & S standards at all times We are looking for someone who is: ·     Sociable ·     Polite ·     Happy to work as a team or independently ·     Reliable ·     Trustworthy ·     Energetic and enthusiastic ·     Hardworking ·     Good time keeping skills ·     Enjoy working outside in all weathers ·     Be fit If you are interested please apply with your CV via the "APPLY" button.
