Gap Student Contract type: Fixed term, January 2025 until 4th July 2025 Hours of work: Full time, term time Salary: Based on National Minimum Wage (pro rata'd for duration of fixed term contract) Closing Date: 17th November 2024 Anticipated start date: January 2025 Location: Brackley, Northamptonshire Purpose of the job For January 2025 we are looking to appoint a Gap Student to join Winchester House School.
This is an exciting opportunity for those who are considering a career working with children and looking to gain valuable experience in a school environment prior to university.
The role of the Gap student is to support staff and pupils in lessons and duties involved in working in a busy boarding school environment.
A Gapper will be able to provide support in core subjects and have an enthusiasm for co-curricular activities.
Experience of coaching, training or mentoring would be an advantage, however this role involves embracing, with enthusiasm and a professional approach the range of opportunities available in the School setting.
