Position: Ganger / General Supervisor Location: Birmingham, West Midlands, UK Project: General Supervision, Loading and Unloading, and General Site Duties Salary: £230.00 Per Shift Hours: Full-Time, Temporary Requirements: Telehandler Ticket - CPCS or NPORS with CSCS logo.
Manual Handling certification.
Proven experience as a Ganger or Supervisor on construction sites.
We are seeking a capable and experienced Ganger / General Supervisor to join a reputable construction contractor.
The role involves overseeing site operations, assisting with loading and unloading tasks, and ensuring smooth workflow across the site.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Operate a telehandler for material movement, unloading deliveries, and general site tasks.
Provide hands-on support with general duties as needed.
Maintain communication between site teams and ensure tasks are completed to deadlines.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Skills: Valid CPCS or NPORS with CSCS logo for Telehandler operation.
Manual Handling certification is essential.
Experience as a Ganger or Supervisor, particularly in site operations and logistics.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
