Role Overview: Seeking an experienced and motivated Credit Analyst to join a front office fund finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional with deep expertise in fund financing to play a crucial role in credit analysis.
You will assess and manage credit exposure, conduct detailed financial analyses, and develop insights to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth credit analysis on fund finance transactions, including subscription line facilities, NAV loans, and hybrid financing.
Manage and assess credit risk for a portfolio of fund finance transactions, providing recommendations on new and existing credit facilities.
Liaise with internal stakeholders, including risk management, relationship managers, and senior leadership, to ensure alignment on credit strategies.
Work closely with clients in the private equity, private debt, and alternative investments sectors to structure and execute financing solutions.
Monitor ongoing performance of credit facilities and provide detailed risk assessments.
Prepare and present credit memos to credit committees and senior management.
Key Requirements: Proven experience (5+ years) in fund finance, credit analysis, or a related role within a financial institution.
Strong understanding of fund finance products such as subscription lines, NAV financing, and hybrid facilities.
Solid credit analysis skills, with the ability to evaluate complex financial structures and assess risk.
Experience working with private equity, asset management, or alternative investment clients.
Strong financial modeling and Excel skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively to senior stakeholders.
