This role will manage a team delivering operational support, and play a big part in managing change and delivering operational excellence in response to the strategic goals of the business.Your new role In your new role as Fund Controller, you'll be ultimately accountable for running the designated accounting/operational teams to provide accounting, external and internal reporting, compliance monitoring, tax reporting, cash management, and oversight of Fund Administrators.Additionally, you'll be responsible for driving through departmental and cross team improvements to achieve operational excellence, department planning to manage change and achieve strategic goals, and manage relevant teams including recruitment, training, motivation and development.What you'll need to succeed This is a senior management role within a financial services organisation, so to be successful you'll need:To be a fully qualified accountant - ACA / ACCA / CIMAExperience in consolidation accountingExperience in the asset management / financial services environmentAbility to manage and motivate a team with multiple competing prioritiesClear and concise communication skills to deal directly with Fund Managers / Administrators, Boards, Committees, Investors, and Audit PartnersWhat you'll get in return Competitive base salary circa.
