Job Description: The Functional Safety Engineer shall work closely with the SW organisation to ensure the correct cascading of TSR's to the relevant SW subsystems.
The individual shall be the first port of call for the SW team to clarify TSR's and engineer a FuSa compliant architecture ( applying decomposition if needed).
The individual has to be proactive in identifying gaps or roadblock for the implementation of a FuSa compliant SW and highlighting this to the relevant stakeholders.
Skills/Qualifications needed: Functional Safety (ISO26262) experience at both System and Software level Experience in safety analysis - FMEA, FTA Supplier management - Functional Safety e.g.
managing DIA'sExperience of leading and delivering Functional Safety activities according to ISO26262 for production automotive projects both at the System and Software level Experience in safety analysis - FMEA, FTA Experience handling suppliers and DIA's Demonstrated expertise of working in embedded system software development Why work through Contechs?
