We are seeking a Functional Safety Engineer to work as part of system architecture team to deliver functional safety implementation.
The Role This role is responsible for the concept and implementation parts of the ISO26262 standard (pt.3 to pt.6) and its interpretation within REE's EV platforms to satisfy ISO26262 guidelines.
Key Responsibilities Perform safety analysis, detect gaps, propose enhancements and specify safety requirements Conduct verification reviews and support ISO26262 certification process Liaise closely with software teams to make sure TSC SW related functional safety requirements are correctly refined into high level and low-level designs and tests, and that SW implementation matching TSC Support REE's EV platform related system testing teams to derive safety related test cases, document test report for software validation, software integration test and software unit test Website: REE Degree in software Engineering, computer science or relevant subject In-depth knowledge of ISO 26262 At least 4 years of experience as safety engineer Experience with generating requirements and requirements management systems.
Level 2 safety reviewer, responsible for monitoring and evaluating software implementation, carried out by software teams High analytical, strategic and conceptual competence Entrepreneurial thinking and acting Ability to work in a cross-functional team Excellent communication skills Advantages: software development experience in the software requirement specification, architecture specification and software low level design specification and the relevant tests In-depth knowledge of ISO 26262 part 6 and specific knowledge in software development for ASIL requirements Experience with AUTOSAR development and integration Experience as control engineer
