Your new company I am engaged on a project to recruit a Full Stack PHP Developer to work for a fast-growth manufacturing business looking to bring more of their Development function in-house.
You can be based anywhere in the UK for this role, but the ideal candidate will be happy to go into their Horsham offices from time to time.
The business has a simple mission statement and have executed it perfectly.
They design, manufacture and distribute all from under one roof and their product is future-proof.
Having past £25m turnover and 70 headcount this an exciting time to be joining am ambitious team.
Your new role You will be joining a small technical team that's being invested in to reduce the dependency on 3rd parties and to increase the functionality of their core systems.
They currently have 1 Senior Developer and 1 Junior Developer in-house and are looking to compliment the team.
Your role would be primarily around Full Stack PHP Development, enhancing and customising their website which is built in CraftCMS, Tailwind and working on Laravel applications.
There is also an opportunity to work with Python to bespoke areas of their ERP system and to automate business processes.
They are investigating where they can introduce AI to automate business processes and you can push this as part of your role.
Having grown exponentially year on year in revenue and headcount, including through Covid, it's a great time to be joining and progression is at the forefront of their thinking for the technical team.
What you'll need to succeed We're looking for: A minimum of 3 years working hands-on with PHP as a Full Stack Developer, working with Laravel and Tailwind CSS for building applications and CraftCMS for customising their internal website.
You'll be proficient with MySQL / Postgres at the database level and the ideal candidate will have experience or an interest in Python to work on their ERP system.
You should be a proponent of cloud technologies and will manage their server infrastructure using Ubuntu.
