Comex 2000 is currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed FTTH Engineer to join our Gigaclear Installs team in the Home Counties.
The role will be Field Based Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.

We are looking for trainee and experienced FTTH Engineers to deliver installation of Fibre to the Home broadband services to residential customers.
As a customerfacing fieldbased role high levels of customer service and producing a quality service is paramount.
What will you be doing As a FTTH Engineer your core responsibilities will be Work safely according to National Roads and Street works Act including Signing Lighting and Guarding Safe Working Practices Personal Safety and Gas Testing.
Ensure all activities are carried out in line with Health and Safety standards including carrying out daily checks to ensure safe to use.
Installation of FTTH broadband services to residential premises including carrying out external and internal cabling work.
Working at heights up to 15 metres including working on Telegraph poles and ladders.
Delivering professional and quality customer service.
Selfauditing work to ensure it meets all company and client standards.
Ensuring all activities are carried out in line with Health and Safety standards including carrying out daily checks to ensure safe to use.
Maintenance of a clean and tidy environment.
Prepared to work in all weather conditions.
Fibre cabling pulling jointing and testing.

Job Type: Fulltime Schedule: Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: Experience: PIA: 1 year (preferred) BT: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (required) Work Location: On the road Requirements We are looking for someone with the following skills and qualifications: Excellent communication skills.
Good observational and analytical skills and a good eye for detail.
A Full UK Driving License is essential due to the fieldbased nature of the role candidates must have held this license for 1 year and have a maximum of 6 points.
Full training will be provided to the right candidate however candidates with experience working on the BT Openreach network and hold NRSWA Street Works qualifications are desirable.
Be able to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and clients Proactive in the resolution of engineering obstacles with liaison with Team Managers Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Ability to work within a team.
Dedication to delivering high levels of customer service.
Sound practical knowledge and experience of Civils Cabling Splicing & testing and business installations.
Flexibility to undertake works outside of core working hours.
Competent in using technology including devices and apps.
