WHAT TO EXPECT DAY TO DAY We are looking a talented and experienced frontend software developer to join our team and work on exciting projects that involve developing web frontends for visualizing data collected from IoT devices that monitor the electrical grid.
Based on the level of competency and experience, this will be a Frontend Tech Lead or Frontend Software Architect role.
As a Frontend Tech Lead, you will lead the frontend development on one of our key software products.
Day to day, you"ll be working as part of a cross-functional development team to develop and maintaining web UIs and dashboards that enable data visualization and analysis.
You will provide technical mentorship to other frontend engineers within the team and ensure that all UI code on the project is developed in accordance with the technical strategy and in-house coding standards.
In collaboration with the development team, you will ensure that software is delivered in a timely manner.
You will also contribute to the strategic direction of our frontend software development.
As a Frontend Software Architect, you will be responsible for the selection and adoption of frontend software technologies, frameworks and processes to be standardised and adopted across multiple projects.
You will be involved in both the discovery and delivery phases of development projects, ensuring that the correct technical strategies are considered early in the product development and take a hands-on approach to ensure that the projects are delivered on-time to high-quality.
You will drive the development and adoption of reusable frontend framework components and provide mentorship to all frontend software engineers to ensure consistency of implementation between project teams.
