This fulltime permanent position commences in September and offers an exciting opportunity to inspire young minds and foster a love for languages and cultures.
Position Overview The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive language instruction to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
You will play a vital role in developing students linguistic proficiency cultural awareness and appreciation for the richness and diversity of the languages you teach.
Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver stimulating lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and cater to diverse learning styles.
Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments providing constructive feedback to support their language acquisition.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and celebrates student achievement.
Collaborate with colleagues within the MFL department to enhance the overall language program and contribute to extracurricular activities.
Qualifications and Experience Bachelors degree in Modern Languages or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
Demonstrated experience teaching MFL at the secondary level.
Fluency in the target language(s) you will be teaching.
A strong understanding of language pedagogy and current teaching methodologies.
