Freight & Customs Coordinator

Elite Associates have partnered with a premium athleisure brand to support on the hire of a Freight & Customs Coordinator to join the team.
Job Summary We're looking for a detail-oriented Freight & Customs Coordinator to manage international freight and customs clearance for the brand.
You will ensure timely and cost-effective shipping, compliance with regulations, and smooth delivery from suppliers to stores or customers.
Key Responsibilities Freight Coordination : Manage domestic and international shipments, working with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers.
Customs Compliance : Ensure compliance with all customs regulations, prepare necessary documentation, and resolve customs-related issues.
Customer Support : Coordinate with customer service on delivery updates, resolve shipping delays, and handle returns.
Data Management : Maintain accurate shipment and customs records, and generate performance reports.
Collaboration : Work with the supply chain and warehouse teams to ensure on-time deliveries and inventory accuracy.
Skills & Qualifications 2+ years of experience in freight or logistics coordination, preferably in fashion or retail.
Strong knowledge of international shipping and customs processes.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with logistics software is a plus.
Problem-solving and attention to detail.
