Description Freelance Façade Manager Location: ManchesterStart: Jan 2025Duration: 10 - 12 Months (Freelance)Contractor: Tier 1 ContractorProject: High-Rise Residential Project (12 Months)We are seeking an experienced Façade Manager to join a Tier 1 contractor for an exciting 12-month project in Manchester.
You will play a pivotal role in managing the entire façade package for the construction of three high-rise apartment blocks, ensuring high-quality delivery and collaboration across teams.Key Responsibilities:•Full management of the façade package including:oSFS (Steel Framing Systems)oWindowsoBrickworkoCladdingoTerracotta glazed tiles•Coordinate and manage subcontractors to ensure all works are completed on time•Ensure quality, standards and budget are being met•Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Site Engineer t•Ensure seamless integration of the façade works with other project activities.•Oversee quality control, health & safety and compliance•Ensure that all façade installations meet both client and regulatory requirements.•Monitor progress, resolve any issues that may arise, and provide regular reportsRequirements:•Proven experience managing façade packages, on high-rise residential projects.•Strong technical knowledge of SFS, brickwork, windows, cladding, and terracotta tiles.•Ability to lead and coordinate subcontractors efficiently and effectively.•Excellent communication and organisational skills.•Strong understanding of health and safety regulations•CSCS / SMSTS / First Aid are essential for the role To Apply:Please submit your CV or contact Dan Standish at Kenton Black (Leeds) for more info ''
