Freelance Account Director, Social & Digital – Global Communications Agency (Inside IR35) Location : London Employment Type : Freelance (Inside IR35) Industry : Global Communications and PR About the Role A renowned global communications agency is seeking an experienced Freelance Account Director in Social and Digital to lead and deliver integrated digital communications for a prominent B2B/Health tech client.
This freelance role is set to start immediately for Q4, with potential for an extension, focusing on impactful digital strategies that drive engagement, bolster reputation, and provide creative solutions across diverse digital landscapes.
Key Responsibilities The Account Director will play an instrumental role in shaping and executing best-in-class social and digital strategies.
This role requires high-level collaboration across internal teams, particularly in design, production, and analytics.
Responsibilities include: Strategic Advisory : Provide expert strategic counsel to internal teams and clients on social and digital communications, ensuring alignment with brand and business objectives.
Campaign Development & Implementation : Develop and implement social and digital communications that resonate with audiences across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and paid media.
Content Oversight : Partner with design and production teams to produce high-quality, engaging content across various channels.
Project Management : Scope, manage, and execute social and digital projects with meticulous accuracy in timelines, deliverables, and resources.
Analytics & Reporting : Analyse social media metrics to assess campaign effectiveness, using data to guide and refine future strategies.
About You The ideal candidate is a results-driven digital communications professional with an impressive background in social media and digital comms, particularly within B2B, corporate, or healthcare sectors.
This role requires: Social Media Expertise : Proven experience with multiple social platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
Digital Knowledge : Broader understanding of digital marketing elements, such as SEO, display advertising, and programmatic.
Analytical Skills : Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools, such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, and Google Analytics.
Organizational Skills : Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a strong attention to detail.
Communication : Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and strategies effectively to stakeholders.
Interpersonal Abilities : Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective client relationships, with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.s.
Note : This freelance role is inside IR35 and open for an immediate start.
