Make your mark for patients We are looking for a Franchise Head - Dermatology to join us in our BII Immunology team, based in our Slough offices.
About the role The Franchise Head's main responsibility is the management of sales, marketing and digital teams in a therapeutic area on a national basis with the aim of achieving the defined turnover and profitability objectives. They understand and apply the PVS principles (Patient Value Strategy), in all aspects of leadership. They demonstrate long-term strategic vision and are responsible for the financial objectives of the scope of activity.
Who you'll work with You will report into the Immunology Head for BII.
What you'll do Ensures that the strategy is adapted to the needs of each ecosystem, in line with the strategic priorities of the products, to maximize the creation of patient value and achieve the objectives of the PVU.Overall responsibility for deliverables, falling within their scope of activity, in line with national financial objectives and those of the PVU at European level.Managing the P&L of the franchise and is responsible for the performance of the team within the scope of activity.In collaboration with the European strategy, develops the growth and profitability of the activity.Ensures that the teams work on the basis of a strategy adapted to the characteristics of the ecosystem, designed to maximize the creation of patient value and achieve objectives.With the Medical Head - Immunology, develops collaboration between their teams and the medical, Patient Experience and Digital teams, and coordinates operational activities resulting from strategic plans to maximize synergies and eliminate redundancies.Ensures the proper implementation and understanding of the Digital Business evolution within the Franchise, while guaranteeing its perfect consistency with the strategic issues.Ensures that the members of teams constantly have the skills and means necessary to act effectively and achieve the objectives set.Brings to the team, expertise on the characteristics of the ecosystem, the management of the main stakeholders and UCB strategies.Provides the teams with high-level support in relations with opinion leaders (KOL), health professionals and all players in the health system.Interested? For this position you'll need the following education, experience and skills: Bachelor's degree.More than 10 years of commercial experience in the health sector and/or marketing experience, and/or health market access, and/or medical experience. Multifunctional experience is an asset.Demonstrated ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary teams and/or matrix teams.Preferably, in-depth knowledge of its ecosystem(s) and regulations in terms of benefits framework, data protection.Demonstrated proficiency in planning, developing and executing strategic and tactical plans.About us
