A foster carer is a family or individual who opens their home to support young people who are not able to live with their birth families.

What are the benefits?
Generous fostering allowance average of £24,700 (equivalent of earning £30,000 with the Governments favourable tax allowances for Foster Carers) Dependent on Location.
The chance to join a supportive and inclusive community of foster carers and take part in the many carer and childrens activities throughout the year Flexible working hours and the opportunity to work from home Wrap around support from a dedicated team of professionals Membership to the Fostering Network Discounts on many major retailers and leisure venues Full access to ongoing training and development via an online platform and face to face training courses Blue light card West End shows discounts The Duke of Edinburgh Key Responsibilities: Provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for children in your care Promote the physical, emotional, and educational development of the children Encourage positive relationships and support childrens connections with their birth families Collaborate with social workers and other professionals to meet the individual needs of each child Maintain accurate records and report on the progress and well-being of children Requirements: Over the age of 21 years Have a permanent spare bedroom Have the right to remain in the UK Genuine passion for improving the lives of children Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate different age groups and needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Resilience and the ability to manage changing situations Basic computer skills for record keeping and reporting We are committed to providing safe homes for children in need, come and be part of our story and feel the satisfaction of making a positive impact on a childs life.
