Premier Work Support have fantastic and exciting opportunities for permanent Cargo Warehouse Operatives for one of our prestigious clients based in Heathrow.
The purpose of this role will be to provide and maintain a high level of service and accuracy in the movement of cargo in line with company and airline requirements.
Some of the duties and responsibilities consist of: Using and operating designated equipment to perform the required movement and processing of freight in and around the warehouse whilst adhering to company and airline requirements.
To understand and execute new working practices deemed necessary by the company, including designated training courses.
To work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.
To keep work area clean and tidy maintaining high levels of Health and Safety.
To achieve the targets and job standards set out by Team Leaders.
Regular repetitive light, medium and heavy lifting.
To perform any reasonable request from Team Leaders.
Skills and experience required: Working knowledge of freight movement techniques/requirements.
Forklift Licence - Counterbalance.
Any Previous Forklift Experience Minimum Level CO Security training.
X-Ray Trained or capability of undergoing training.
Attention to detail.
Reasonably high standard of numeracy and literacy.
Complying with all relevant legislation as well as stringent airport authority and carrier security requirements is essential.
In order to comply with strict aviation security regulations, due to the nature of this role we will be undertaking a full five-year reference history and apply for a basic criminal record check before starting this position.
Depending on experience, the salary ranges from £26,600 to £28,000 per annum plus a bonus for 100% attendance!
Working on a 4-on-4-off shift pattern, 07:00 - 19:00 and 19:00 - 07:00, on a permanent basis.
