We're looking for someone with a FLT Counterbalance and Reach license that can move and record goods with a consistent level of accuracy, and a focus on safety.
If this sounds like you, read on to find out more.You will be working Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern of 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm.Job OpportunityThis Forklift Driver role involves moving goods around our site and warehouses, ensuring all safety requirements are met.
You will be responsible for loading and unloading deliveries, and stacking, transporting, and recording various items and pallets for storage and delivery.The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:operating a forklift/reach truck to load, unload, move, and rearrange stock.basic operation of the palletiser system and conveyor.following all site safety rules to maintain a safe working environment, reporting any near misses, incidents, and injuries.carrying-out pre-use safety checks and ensuring accurate records are kept.ensuring 100% accuracy when loading and unloading by checking all products against paperwork.performing daily and weekly cleaning tasks.checking products are labelled correctly and put away in the correct locations and scanning pallets.achieving output targets set through effective teamworking.assisting with stocktakes.providing the correct pallet types required for production orders.If you have a Counterbalance and Reach FLT licence and experience as a Warehouse Operative, Forklift Operator, Forklift Driver, Reach Truck Driver, or Counterbalance Forklift driver, (use of clamp attachment is desirable) apply for this role today and we will be in touch with the next steps.Essential SkillsEssential skills:FLT Counterbalance and Reach licenceGood communication, numeracy, and literacy skillsA team playerAbility to work to deadlinesDuties involve regular repetitive light, medium, and heavy lifting Desirable skills:RPPT (Ride on Powered Pallet Truck) experience and/or licenseExperience of using handheld scanners and/or able to understand basic instructions displayed on handheld scanner screens About CompanyNorthwood is a family-owned group of associated companies that provide the manufacturing, supply and transportation of paper hygiene and wiping products for both the away-from-home and consumer market.Our mission is to be the market-leading partner of choice in the away from home tissue industry.
