Forest School Lead Teacher – Camden   A unique opportunity has arisen for a passionate and creative Forest School Lead Teacher to join an inspiring early education team.
This role involves leading outdoor learning sessions for children aged 2-7 years in beautiful natural settings where children can explore, develop, and form a lasting connection with the natural world.
The Forest School Lead Teacher will be responsible for planning, delivering, and managing engaging outdoor sessions that inspire curiosity, resilience, and hands-on learning.
Working closely with class teachers and early years practitioners, the successful candidate will design a curriculum aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage, providing a well-rounded, nature-based educational experience.
Key responsibilities include setting up resources, maintaining equipment, supporting child-led activities, and conducting regular risk assessments to ensure a safe environment.
This role also involves liaising with local authorities to secure outdoor spaces and collaborating with senior leadership to embed forest school experiences across the school's timetable.
Ideal candidates will hold a Level 3 Forest School certification or equivalent and have at least one year of experience in a similar role.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are essential, alongside a commitment to supporting children's development through outdoor learning.
