Job DescriptionThe Foreign Trade Operations Department at Robert Bosch Ltd based in Denham, has a fantastic opportunity for an undergraduate student with a keen interest in Foreign Trade, Customs Processes and Data Analysis to undertake a 12-month placement.As an Intern in this department, you will have an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience working for a highly reputable global company where you can develop your personal and professional skills.You will be actively supporting the operations team in areas such as:Carrying our procedural mapping and documentationCarrying out Invoice Verification with our brokers and driving process improvementsSupporting the Internal Control process ensuring complianceYou will support the team development of utilising various tools PowerBI, to bring greater transparency to our processes and results:Making sure the MSS data is up to date and provide our internal customers with the relevant KPI's in a user friendly formatPreparation of Trader Support Service data for shipments to Ireland utilising automation tools.Assistance in preparation for and attendance at audits (internal, external, broker).Develop and maintain an internal Bosch Intranet page to provide up-to-date information to the UK BusinessesQualificationsStudying for an undergraduate degree and required to take a placement as part of your course.
Studying for an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline Logistics, Supply Chain, Customs or BusinessExcellent MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPointGood knowledge and understanding with Data Analysis tools Power BIStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to meet deadlines in a time-pressured environmentGood knowledge of systems ( SAP)Additional InformationThis is a 12-month internship beginning in June 2025.
This position is open to undergraduate students who are required to partake in a work placement as part of their course.Benefits:one-off signing on gross payment of £1,200 in their first salary.
