Role Overview: The Preparation Supervisor will play a pivotal role in managing the preparation of ingredients, ensuring they meet the highest quality and food health standards.
This hands-on role involves maintaining high standards of personal hygiene, a clean production environment, and adherence to food safety and health regulations.
Key Responsibilities - Hygiene: Maintain personal hygiene, comply with food hygiene requirements, and ensure all equipment and workstations are clean and sanitised.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety policies, wear required protective clothing, and report any hazards immediately.
- Product Preparation and Staff Management: Oversee staffing levels, provide training, maintain stock levels, plan daily production needs, and ensure accuracy in raw material measurements and machine settings.
- General Duties: Work efficiently on a production line, participate in team projects, and adhere to company policies regarding personal conduct and safety.
Skills and Experience Required: - Communication: Proficient in English, with strong interpersonal, listening, written, and oral skills.
- Basic Skills: Competent in reading and mathematics for following recipes and training manuals.
