Job Description Provide professional food safety, health & safety and related support to the operations team as required.
Carry out visits to locations to offer support and complete audits to ensure locations are legally compliant as well as company policy compliant and following industry "Best Practice".
Review accident and incident reports to ensure the necessary corrective actions have been taken following an accident or near miss.
Undertake accident, allergy incident and alleged food poisoning investigations, working to identify root causes, attending client meetings with operations where required.
Support for developing, engaging and rolling out safety initiatives and information to meet the company's expectations.
Support the development of a strong safety culture across the contract.
Support with online systems, to ensure compliance and raise maintenance tickets to support with location safety.
Support in the management and review of third party and client audits.
Prepare reports and present at meetings both internally and with the client.
Attend Client meetings to offer sound advice and help ensure BaxterStorey policies & practices mesh with Client requirements.
Work with the wider Food, Health & Safety Team to review and develop safety documentation, projects, training, and safety initiatives.
Qualifications NEBOSH Certificate and Level 4 Food Safety (or willing to work towards) BSc or MSc in Environmental Health (desired) Must have full driving licence.
